We Moved to Corfu Greece? GREEK ISLAND LIVING 🇬🇷 The Best of the Island

We're still on the Greek Ionian island of Corfu and trying to decide, should we live here? Or should we move on to another Greek island? We're spending a couple of days exploring the island of Corfu, from beautiful look offs, to beaches and towns to find the best spots on Corfu.

We start off at Loggas Beach or Sunset Beach which has the most beautiful view with incredible cliffs and turquoise water. From there we head to Cape Drastis for more incredible views and cliffs. These have to be two of the most beautiful spots in Corfu and we flew our drone in both locations.

Later we went to the town of Sidari where we stopped at Kantina Grill for a delicious Pork Gyro. We also explore the town, it's beaches and Trevor gets a hair cut.

On the next day we head out in our rental car to explore more places and towns in Corfu. Our first stop of the day is Palaiokastritsa where we visited a couple of the town's beaches.

Our second stop is Agios Georgios, another small beach town with a really long, walkable beach.

Because we're thinking about staying here longer term, through out the video we talk about the things we look for in a location that we stay for longer periods, including good internet, food, etc.

It has a similar vibe to Corfu town (very Venetian) and is only a 2-hour drive from Athens. Would highly recommend exploring the Peloponnese region as a potential place to live. One of my faves in the Cyclades is Paros… My sis can’t come to Las Terrenas with us this winter, so we’re thinking of a Greek island visit in early June. Interested to see which island you’ve chosen to live, and why. Maybe we’ll see you there!

May of this year I visited Corfu for several days. Took a morning ferry from Sarande in Albania. Stayed at a backpacked place called the Pink Palace on the west coast. Really enjoyed the island I would go back. Some good beaches, nature, great people and food

Please do try pita souvlakia! I much prefer it over gyros. Basically pork or chicken grilled over coals, in the same pita. Chicken is a little more expensive but almost always my choice. Ask for "apo ola" to get all the trimmings, and ask for 'me sauce' or 'me tzatziki' depending on what style of sauce you prefer. The regular 'sauce' is a cocktail/whiskey style sauce (My preferred one for sure).

We visited Naxos earlier this year we visited Kozi and had the Naxian salad - it was the best salad we had in the whole time we spent travelling in Greece!! Plus great location right on the beach and bonus cute cats ☺️

Beautiful place for sure. That beach definitely had a Cape Breton Highlands feel to it and those gyros added a good old Nova Scotian donair flavour to the video...minus the french fries...maybe. 🤔 Lol. I can see how a Caper would feel at home there.😎
