Although the story has been severely changed from the books, Keeley Hawes is an amazing actress and the series is very very funny.

The Durells' seaside home was also used during the filming of Billy Wilder's 1978 film Fédora.

Es una serie que ví el verano pasado y me encantó, es entrañable, los actores están estupendos, Corfú preciosa y la musica de la serie también me gustó mucho.

This bears little resemblance to the books. Admittedly, the books are distortions too – but Gerald's more original distortions are infinitely preferable.

everything she says, the mother, is almost the opposite to what Durrell wrote

I don't understand. If a woman of the 30s does not marry a homosexual, will he feel better?

I enjoy the show but the addition of aunt hermoine was a bit of a letdown, I mean the typical overbearing dried up old woman that everybody hates but cowers to is a tired story line and it makes me lose interest.

A nice non woke propaganda show - i thought. Until the last episode oft the first season. You cant escape this shiat no more not even with a british show.
