Thank you for explaining that sometimes it's not feasible to leave an abuser. Acquaintances think I want to be with him. I left my narc almost three years ago. I moved 1100 miles away from him. I never called him but he did Hoover me a few times. I could tell by his voice he was very angry. I was living in an efficiency hotel. Well I lost my job and I couldn't afford the hotel and my car payment. (He stopped the car payment agreement when I didn't come home.) Well I had to move back. (My name is on the Mobile Home too.) I have no family. The first month it was rainbows and unicorns . . . . now he's back to his abusive ways and he is having an emotional affair with a married coworker. He leaves his Facebook open on his PC and he sneaks her texts. Probably to get me jealous. I'm beating myself up because I feel like I failed. It was out of my control. I want out. I'm looking for a job again . I want to get an RV instead of renting. He's 73 yrs old and I'm 60. He still acts like a child.
