Giving that kid access to a firearm was like giving a book of matches to a pyromaniac & telling them “Here, have fun!” 🤦‍♂️

Her saying she "wouldn't have done anything differently" sealed her fate. Her lack of empathy and remorse also sealed her fate, but the fact she doubled down on her actions and said she wouldn't change anything is crazy. I audibly gasped when I heard her say that. Even if you feel that way, what on earth would possess you to admit it in front of the jury?

If she put as much EFFORT toward her child as she did getting her FREAK ON maybe things would have been different

Her saying she wouldn't do anything different after everything she ignored really killed any sympathy I might have had. He drew pictures, he wrote it down and he literally said he was having violent thoughts and needed help to her flippin face and she's still thinks she did her best and was vigilant. Right

Finally a parent being held responsible for her actions in helping her son kill 4 people. If u KNOW that ur kid has mental health problems get them help don't go and buy him a gun or give him access to one. She knew what her son had planned and done nothing instead of owning up to her and her husbands actions they ran with their tails between their legs

This is a turning point in our society. Lets hope it sends out an important message and not raise up grievances amongst folks. Children should be thought to take responsibility for their own actions, always. But, parents should also take stern responsibility for what they do when enabling their children.. pray for them 🙏

Please keep in mind that her actions directly caused the death of 4 people. These people died and their families will live every day thinking about their family member. This isn't something that happened and didn't have any consequences for really common sense parenting. Hopefully this will serve as a lesson to all parents how much your actions affect your kids.

Parents should be held accountable what their kids do

if the parents didn’t buy Ethan the firearm, he wouldn’t have been able to carry out the shooting. there is a reason why a background check for mental health is done before buying a firearm.

As an example. Maybe more parents, who could go to jail for what their kids do, should start thinking about some stuff. Let the court system make decisions they can't seem too. Lose everything like those who lost their loved ones.

More parents should be held accountable for their minor child's actions, maybe they'd raise them to be better ppl. 🤷🏼‍♂️
