They are definitely not better than a dedicated track tire for track days. Tried them for that and then hopped in a car with dedicated track tires and there wasn't a comparison.

For street and light dry track they're great though.

These are great for road cars. Once you get to true track tires you start to loose any wet weather performance. A set of Toyo 888r tires are great track day tires but you'll be crapping your pants if it happens to rain. PS 4S is perfect for everyday driving.

Excellent tire, the pirelli p zeroes are also very good but if you have the money the michelins are well worth it for most cars 200bhp and up.

I really like the Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS+ first tire I’ve had that doesn’t spin really hard in 2nd gear on my gti

Have them on my Evo 9. I mainly use it for street and planning on using it for some fun track days. They’re quite grippy on the Touge and I love it.
