Your channel is a breath of fresh air showing general aviation as it truly exists - keep up the great work

I think it would be cool if you did a video that showed everything from a walk around, to a cold and dark startup, to taxi and takeoff.

I never paid attention to how many subs you had and would've guessed you were already an established channel. Your video quality is incredible. That being said, your question about vlogging is basically if you want to put the work in recording and editing your life. If so then you open your channel to fans of vlog style videos who will learn you're a pilot and stay for that or stay for your vlogs or both

Love the channel! Fun to see the Vision Jet in action. Nicely done!

I’m glad you asked what people want to watch. I think it would be really cool to show what you do before and after you land the plane. Going into the airport, hotel, other things you do during the day would be entertaining to watch. I think like 80% flying 20% non flight would be cool.

Flight planning. That is what I love to see! Deciding on the route, weight, fuel planning… haven’t seen that for a Vision Jet yet.

Wow, your videos are truly impressive! The video quality is top-notch, the camera placement and editing are superb. It's evident that you put a lot of time and effort into capturing, producing, and editing these videos, and it really pays off. Your production values are on par with the best around!

I can tell that you have a great understanding of proper flying procedures, and your piloting skills are exceptional. Your snappy communications add a level of professionalism that is truly commendable. Not only are you skilled in the cockpit, but you also have a fantastic personality that shines through in your videos. It's clear that you are relatable and genuine, making your content even more enjoyable.

I've noticed that your Vlog #2 has received the highest number of views, and it's not hard to see why. Your combination of good flying, detailed explanations, and storytelling really captivates the viewer. Sharing your experience of transitioning in detail was very nice.

In my opinion, the channels that resonate with viewers the most are the ones that feature planes they are interested in, allow them to dream of being in the pilot's seat, and create a connection with the pilot. Luckily, you tick all these boxes! Your relatability and outstanding personality truly enhance the quality of your videos and your flying skills. It would be wonderful to see glimpses of your life outside of the plane when it fits into the story, as it adds an extra dimension to your videos.

If I may offer a suggestion, I think it would be fantastic to see more detailed explanations in your videos. It's not just about reading the checklist and having snappy communications; viewers want to see the intricacies of piloting. Close-up shots of the PFD and MFD, along with actual manipulation of the FMS, would be incredibly informative and engaging. Additionally, sharing some insight into your decision-making process would be valuable. It would be like receiving a little bit of instruction along the way without feeling talked down to. Keep up the incredible work! Your videos are already fantastic, but with the addition of more detailed explanations and glimpses into your decision-making process, they will undoubtedly become even more captivating. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next!

Great video. Did fly in California on a private basis, working UATC in Germany: mistakes are made by pilots, too... Especially in a busy environment like SoCal: getting even more stressful in marginal weather conditions.
If asked, I'd like to hear more about transition from piston to jet and the way Cirrus is supporting this process.
Keep it up, regards from Germany.

Great video, whoops we almost ran you into another aircraft my bad. Come on guys, hard job I know and why I support far more controllers on duty. One person should never be so task saturated that a mistake is made. Great work on your channel, I’m here mostly for aviation content but if your around the town is done as well as these are I would watch about anything you put out. Thanks for my flying fix! Most important I’m thankful you and the other pilot stayed safe.

Nice video. Would like to see flight planning process, route selection, take off and landing performance numbers, weight distribution/limitations and other specific Vision jet information. Some suggestions, if you are willing to listen :-). ATC asked you if you received an RA and you said you did. You did not. That was a TA. Not sure if the VJ actually has TCAS vs TAWS-B. An RA is a Resolution Advisory, with actual flight path commands for collision avoidance. Also, strongly consider not doing a checklist while rolling out on the runway, especially as single pilot. Exit the rwy, stop, complete your items and taxi=better airmanship. It seems that you know your airplane well and that is good to see. Safe flying. Cheers.

Wow dude that was truly a near miss! 😅😅😅😅 great attitude and even better flying tho I’m so glad I found your channel I’m obsessed with the vision jet it’s so awesome and unique. Is yours a G2 or 2 plus? The emergency auto landing and parachute system (caps) is fascinating to me on cirrus aircraft!

One things to make your life easier if you come back to HHR you can load the RNAV 25 at KHHR
IAF PDZ will put you to CAKUT ( equivalent to VOR 270) so little easier ( you may also get after pdz fly direct powup on the RNAV
Glad you fly my plane when it was on lease back N524HP

First sorry for your loss with your brother and thank you for sharing. Your Vlog is perfect don’t change it. Only thing I would add is State your current location where you are going and how long the flight is cruising speed you will attain during flight. Just a thought. Your com’s during flight is spot on.
