Hello dear.
Just wanted to add an information, rather an explanation. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman did introduce the Freedom fighter quota. But it was not something permanent.

After the independence of Bangladesh when the new government was formed. They needed a lot of man power to run this newly formed and war affected nation. So, for the recruitments of that year, in 1972, through an interim order issued by the Ministry of Cabinet Services, the quota system for BCS was introduced.
Sheikh Mujibor Rahman was in power until 15th August 1975.
If he had any permanent plan on keeping this quota, he definitely would have turned it into a law passed by parliament. Or when in 1972, our constitution was formed, he would have proposed inserting an article into it reserving the quota for freedom fighters, children, and grandchildren. Nothing as such was done meanwhile.
Because it was an interim plan to keep that quota for that time.
