It's true that in 1971 India help us to achieve our independence. But now a days India treat Bangladesh like a slave. Bangladesh is an independence country we are not slave anymore. If India treat our as an independent nation and support us we will maintain good relationship with India.

As a Bangladeshi Hindu, we have a generally good relationship with our Muslim brothers and sisters. The threat of violence against the Hindu community is a rare occurrence, often politically motivated to garner votes.

Over the past 15 years, the government has been plagued by corruption. Unfortunately, India has taken advantage of this situation, acting as a kind of pseudo-colonist by exerting influence in various national aspects. They've even supported rigged elections and the crimes of the previous government. India's failure to share water level information and its sudden opening of floodgates without warning have caused significant problems for us.

It's important to remember that India supported the 1971 war for its own geopolitical interests, not out of altruism. We struggled and paid huge war reparations afterward.

Finally, it's hypocritical to criticize violence against minority groups in neighboring countries while being jingoistic towards Muslims in your own.
