It's so funny your number one essential is a swimsuit. I rarely bring swimsuits on my vacations and only started a few years ago when I began visiting the American southwest (and have access to family pools). I hardly ever take a "beach vacation", unless we go to PNW beaches and those aren't really "beachy" 🤣.
