I've been there with depression.
I hope that whoever feels low and unmotivated, gets the rest and validation that their soul needs. A simple "I care and I'm listening to you" could be all a person with depression needs to hear and then to see that speaker walk their talk without judgement and with love; that means so much more than lip service. Trust is EVERYTHING.

i really liked dr sue varma. she sounds serious, focused, attentive. i also liked that qoute “There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called Yesterday and the other is called Tomorrow. Today is the right day to Love, Believe, Do and mostly Live.”.

Psychedelics helped me deal with my addiction. Having suffered anxiety and depression as well. I must say taking them turned my life around. I started micro dosing and just in a couple days I noticed major changes in my stress levels, depression, and everything else. It’s been really great. After battling with these for years little did I know that shrooms will save me.

I had knee surgery in July 2022 and am in recovery. I haven't exercised and have been eating less, I think that triggered my depression

I’m self diagnosed ASD and found that depression has been a result of not having a purpose or bigger vision in my life. She’s right. The moment your brain and synaptic patterns reach a depression response, it will be easier and faster to fall into depressive episodes because the brain loves habit. It wants to be efficient and it does not discriminate what patterns it uses. It doesn’t know harmful from non harmful. That’s where your insight comes in to redirect and, very vigorously, keep choosing a healthier pattern.

Thank you Kyle for being so open on depression and asking questions. I’ve had psychiatrists who just want to manage medication 💊 and not treat other issues that arise along with depression, including medication that no longer is working.

I have BPD, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, self harm, gad.
I found out over 48 years, meds don't work on me but I went to a hospital who gave me ECT treatment. This works for me.

Especially when you're dealing with people who don't want to see you grow or continue to do the same thing that happened to you when you was a child and you're younger days

Finding the right therapist is the biggest problem not to mention insurance, lack of providers currently, and lack of other factors like transportation/time/outside support. I have finally found an excellent counselor but currently I can barely see him once a month because of the high demand for mental health services and the shortage of professionals in my area.

I'm officially diagnosed clinical major depressive disorder, PTSD, major anxiety, and BP. I'm on one anti depressant and one anti anxiety med but at extremely low dose.
I don't drink or do drugs. My physical illness are great. My biggest problem now is exhaustion. Mentally and physically exhausted. I feel like I have been fighting against my illnesses . ( my depression is from about the age of 11 and I'm now 58)
