Palworld has influences of Pokemon but its definitely its own thing. To me it's close to the adult version of Pokemon that a lot of us GEN1 gamers wanted since we grew up.

I like Palworld more than pokemon, and we have to consider that Pokémon is the only successful franchise for hunting small animals and making them fight eachother. This is another one where we make small animals fight (pretty vague) and it has a lot of its own stuff that pokemon didn't such as labor camps, capturing humans, building bases, actual guns, and more. In short, Palworld is a lot more original than we are giving it credit for, and I like it more than pokemon at this point.

Pokemon
-Shiny Pokemons
-Mega Evolve

-Dyna and Gigamax
-Terastall
-Hidden Abilities
And Etc.
So Palworld many people say have identical design from Pokemon but they are different game style in overall
(My opinion)
I think Palworld better than Pokemon about graphic and environment
But Pokemon better about game mechanics and creatures/characters design
and about game styles
Palworld = Pokemon

So overall for me Pokemon is better
