I agree 100% in that it’s an uphill struggle, I haven’t had my dad in my life since I was 10 (he’s dead). But he was a pedo, so the world is better off with him gone. Having to struggle with manhood without a role model is truly difficult. I’ve had to figure all of it out on my own. I lost my father when I was 11 yrs old and that really changed me. Alhamdulillah, my older brothers decided to come back from their home country and I got a shaykh - whom I am currently studying under - and they started lifting me to be a man. Brother Hijab turned out pretty masculine and he was brought up by his mother!!! & Not his father so its not just that!
