What is the average time it takes to do a transfer via cable versus wirelessly?

I'm currently making a transfer from my old Samsung Galaxy S8+ to my new Samsung Z fold 4 (via wirelessly). The onscreen message gave me the approximate amount of data that would transferred over (something like 31 GB) and gave an approximate time of 31 minutes. Its been nearly 2 hours so far and only 27% of the transfer is complete so far. Of course wirelessly takes longer but at this rate of speed transfer, the whole process should be complete by sometime tomorrow afternoon. Thank goodness I'm not waiting in a Verizon store to have this done by a store clerk, I'd have to camp out in my car and do an all-nighter.
