I would say no. WoW is not worth playing in 2024, even for people who liked WoW. TWW is another mediocre expansion.
There are better single players and multiplayer games, which don't require a subscription.

The only reason anyone would play WoW in 2024 is if they have an old PC that doesn't run newer games, but even then, there are better indie games out there that don't require a high end gaming PC.

I will not be playing this game, or give blizzard any of my heard earned money.
My reasons?
Well first, they gave Alleria the fantasy version of the "Girlboss" sidecut haircut.
my 2nd reason: Pandering to cripples. I am a cripple, and I absolutely hate it, when games try to "represent me", while in the same time the world supports magic that can bring back people from the dead. While they have full body prosthetics. While a boy can drop his sword, and resurrect all of his soldiers, who died in battle in various ways.
3rd reason: They keep messing with the lore, on all levels, retconning stories from the past and ruining them. They keep adding things in the game that make no sense, and if they did exist they would run past stories. They also ignore those things, when they need to, in order to make a story work.
4th reason: Blizzard removed a portrait of a woman and replaced her with fruit.
5th Reason: The characters sing your praises, oh Yet, you mean nothing in the story. You change nothing. You don't matter. You help somebody, free somebody, then you watch a cutscene in which you either A:) Do not exist. or B:) your character is there, but does nothing, thus again making you worthless.

No, War Within is very disappointing. Face it, it is an old game. The WOW factor is long gone. There is no warcraft left.
