What surprises me the most is how decent PS3 looks. Crazy how they were able to make that work on a 2006 console.

I’ve seen many Ray Traced Games and I can tell this GTA V “Expanded and Enhanced” is not one of them

All things considered, the PS3/360 generation still looks pretty decent, and it's pushing 10 years. Good on them for accomplishing a lot on that hardware on its way out.

That seamless character switching, though.

5:03 The "seamless character switching" is so laughable, it was one of Rockstars main selling points.

5:05 That seamless character switching doesn’t look too seamless

Confirmed. I’m saving my money. Thank you for this comparison.

Only upgrade that was worth it was PS3 to PS4. Everything after does not justify buying the same game 3 times.

Damn, at 3:10, how the PC version renders two shadows, because characters are being lit by two independent light sources. That's crazy attention to detail.

Amazing the work they did on the PC version 7 years ago 👍

I would never believe 5 years ago that we would be getting a ps5 comparison to an almost 10 year old game lmao

Love seeing these comparisons every once in a while.

Apparently at Rockstar, ray tracing just means “more shiny”

By far the PC version is the most polished. Lighting effects and rendering of distant objects are better.

The only thing this video taught me is that the ps3 and 360 versions still look pretty good after all these years.

Been watching your content since GTA V was announced in 2011 and just starting 7th grade. Watched every screenshot and trailer breakdown as soon as they posted.

Fast forward 11 years later; I just graduated college last year and I’m still watching GTA V videos on your channel. A lot has changed between now and then, but one thing that’s remained consistent is the quality of your content. Thanks for all you do!
