My question is two fold, firstly if you are vaccinated does that just protect you so can you still easily be an asymptomatic carrier ?. Secondly why have they not said how long the vaccine will be effective for, for example if it only gave a few months immunity then what is the point of such a massive logistical vaccination programme. If the genuinely don't know or can't estimate how long immunisation lasts then make that public.

Provided people who are most vulnerable - and want it - get vaccinated, it surely can't matter how many others have the vaccine. We're not trying to eliminate the virus completely, that would be impossible, it's endemic. Being infected and even ill isn't a big deal, that's just life. Also, why not offer everyone a T cell immunity test? Public Health England considers that about 25% of the population are completely immune due to T cell immunity anyway. Surely, identifying those individuals would be useful.

AstraZeneca vaccine team needs to go back to the drawing board. Why would a responsible regulator approve a much more inferior product when there are currently at least two viable alternatives and potentially others in the coming months?
