Morning Bible Devotion: 2 Chronicles 26

2 Chronicles 26: King Uzziah (or Azariah in 2 Kings 15) is a solid and successful king as long as he sought God. He was successfully as a military king, as a technologically driven king and as a king of the land. As a well-rounded king he became famous and with the fame came pride. Pride leads the fall of many a man and Uzziah was no exception. He enters the Temple with the intent to burn incense and violates God’s law against the king being a priest. God’s judgement is swift.
