I like your style. It’s like being taught by a friend in the field. I like that you don’t play music at the beginning, you stay on the subject and are clear and concise. Thank you!

Yes they do make that specific corner ball I used to get them all the time when I was hanging drywall down south

Man, life saver tip about cutting the drywall back 1/2 from the corner. I'm putting this on an inset shelf, so cutting back the wood of the shelf would be a lot more of a chore than the drywall ;-)

They make bullnose (rounded) corners for wood/mdf baseboard here in use those on bullnose tight right around we glue bullnose corners to butt cuts on both sides

Hey Doc here where iam at all we do is bullnose (trim tex vinyl bullnose)and the only time we use corner bead is for commercial jobs or maybe in some remodels ...we make these cleaners out of caulking tubes to clean the bullnose of joint compound...if we use corner bead I prefer the metal kind because it stays straight unlike the plastic corner bead that sometimes is difficult to sit right...either way they both look nice when done right huh

I got to where I didn't need the pattern. Just cut the first piece without the perfect curve then I got to where I could eyeball the piece that butted to it. Like coping trim. Got real fast at it and precise.
I've do e baseboard too. We never worried about the round corners. We would do them with an extra little piece on the corner. 22.5° on the joints to go around the corner.

Hi Doc.  I will have to look for that Trim-Tex  Marker.  Thanks.  I notice a lot of outside angles/corners 45's there in your project.  Do you have short cuts for coating?  Can you run a small box across the outside angles?  Thanks.  Keep doing Great.

I just mud the metal bullnose on then skim coat it then put paper tape on the corners so it cover the gap where the top and sides meet then skim coat over the corners and tape again then bam looks nice 👍

i just use a 2x4 with a 3/4" radius routed on its side attached to a miter saw. Tried that tool takes too much time miter saw a lot quicker

For a novice/ dummy DIY home owner you went too quick with with the miter tool.
Home depot don't carry anymore. I found on line and bought 2.
I am terrible cutting the 45° .
Using the yellow handle cutter.
I like your hopper. I will shop for it. I have had a great deal of trouble finding bullnose tools. I found it is cool to do bullnose.
Thanks

Fantastic info... but I can't find the template anywhere. And the corner joiner. What's the name I should search for to buy it?
