He mentioned the Seabees and it makes me proud to be a Seabee. Fun fact the Seabees were the first group to make up the navy seals with their beach demo battalion

My father-in-law was stationed with the U.S. Army in India. He had a severe case of malaria and was in hospital when the ship came to take the men home. They told him he would have to wait for another ship. He tore out the IVs and dragged himself on board the ship. He said he would rather die on a ship headed home than stay one more day in India. He did make it home, and lived a long and happy life in the good old U.S.A.

Little off topic but did you know we were the Reason USSR was even effective and had all those tanks during WW2? US gave the USSR the money an material for them, while sending an American Engineer from Chicago to set up and teach them how assembly lines work. We also gave them many Sherman tank and US Trucks, so many that 1/3rd of the vehicles use in their invasion of Afghanistan were what the Americans gave them from the war

A special mention should have been the case of the ARA BELGRANO (previously known as the USS Phoenix CL-46, of the US Navy), Brooklyn class.
It was sunk outside the exclusion zone by the English during the Falklands War in 1982.
