The truth is that grades don't matter. You could be perfect at writing answers you learnt from ages of studying text books but when your in the actual work environment you need to be smart to succeed. You could have the best grades in the world but if you cant even make a cup of tea how useful are your really? grades are nice and all but getting more then the minimum wont improve how smart you are it will only increase the hours you spend looking at books and wasting some of your time. Instead of wasting some of my time I instead aimed at getting the middle grades for my subjects and used the time I saved to carry out hobbies and learn more about other subjects that I have a interest in such as art, photography, technology and keeping up to date with the current world and industry changes. knowing more about the world you live in and about how society works can really improve your understanding and help you succeed in life whilst wasting time looking at books and learning answers for question in which some of the information you learn might never pop up in your life can be seen as one of the failures of the education system.
