I had a teacher in 7th grade who actually read my texts with my mother out loud…
Like she confiscated my phone at the END OF CLASS, and read the texts out loud so others could hear…

Needless to say, she gave it back before I got on the bus. My parents were PISSED.
Did she commit a crime? :3
(It was honestly very scarring, plus I got bullied for it…)

In Brazil, teachers are not allowed to take phones from students since it's private property and they can be legally sued for it

I once dropped out of a school I went to because the teacher just snatched my phone without asking me to put it away . I had a lot going on out of school so it was just the breaking point for me

My nephew has auditory dyslexia and had special permission from the school board themselves to record classes on his phone. One teacher didn't care and kept taking his phone away until my sister went to the school. The principal warned the teacher and she didn't do it for 3 weeks but went right back to it, my sister went to the school again with the police and a lawyer. The teacher got arrested for hate crime and my sister sued the teacher personally for discrimination of disabled. The only reason she didn't sue the school is because they actually were doing the right thing.

In Europe specific in Czech Republic we got a laws about Privacy things so if your teacher takes your phone away without your permission you can take this as theft property. Most of schools don't know this but it is into law systems.

Anyways, I here's a chocolate brownie recipe:

125g Coles Organic Unsalted Butter, chopped
125g CADBURY Baking Dark Chocolate, chopped
3 eggs, lightly whisked
335g (1 1/2 cups) white sugar
115g (3/4 cup) plain flour
30g (1/4 cup) Dutch cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Step 1:
Preheat oven to 180C/160C fan forced. Grease a 20cm (base measurement) square cake pan and line with baking paper.

Step 2
Place 125g Organic Unsalted Butter, chopped and 125g Baking Dark Chocolate, chopped in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (don't let the bowl touch the water). Stir with a metal spoon until melted. Remove from heat. Quickly stir in 3 eggs, lightly whisked, 335g (1 1/2 cups) white sugar, 115g (3/4 cup) plain flour, 30g (1/4 cup) Dutch cocoa powder, 1 tsp vanilla extract and Pinch of salt until just combined. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out with moist crumbs clinging. Set aside to cool completely.
