CERN NEWS : LHCb announces new results in matter-antimatter asymmetry

Matter and antimatter are thought to have existed in equal amounts at the beginning of the universe, but today the universe appears to be composed essentially of matter. By studying subtle differences in the behaviour of particle and antiparticles, experiments at the LHC are seeking to cast light on this dominance of matter over antimatter.

Very interesting results BTW. Great to see progress being made. Are you doing any research into CPT symmetry or just CP? Does CPT have an relevance to the matter/antimatter asymmetry?

Perhaps we can get a more accurate estimate of the mass of the X boson from LHC too, not that we're likely to ever be able to create them, though if we could that'd enable us to convert matter into pure energy :)

Negative sign of the antiproton does not mean negative energy.
 Assertion of negative energy is nonsense
And positron, and antiproton, and all other anti particles have opposite charge, but not with negative energy. This statement does not prevent explain the process of annihilation between particle and antiparticle. Even explain why only equal by mass particles and antiparticle can annihilate.
 Difference  between particle and antiparticle  is only in charge!
