How did he get that so wrong - he even had the wind to help him, not to mention 2 engines.. Wrong angle coming in try 30/70 degrees next time and have the crew rig a midship spring with either a loop or a bowline. Drop the line over the cleat and gently outside engine forward and you will pull nicely on to the dock.

0:17 how sweet, the dock guy tried to stop a 10+ ton catamaran with his hands. he then tried again in 0:42. too much marvel inside him.

You will always notice incompetence with too much speed. Only time you need speed is when you must ensure rudder works and you better steer accurately. Docking a cat forward in a side tie, ??? Costs more than learning from professionals.
