It's not loose skin, it's winners skin, wear it with pride

Fill it with muscle. No shame in this. At first I was afraid of getting lose skin, but now I see it as a trophy of your struggles.

This video made me subscribe. I'm pushing 40, I'm 6'7 and 335 lbs, and I have about 50 lbs to lose, mostly from my stomach and hip area - I've been really concerned about the loose skin issue, but I want you to know that you've helped me think about the process differently.

What sets you apart for me (there are many similar messages out there) is the non-douchy, non-frat-bro, non-poser straight up approach: "Guys, this is the reality, this is what you can expect, this is what you can do. That might suck, but do it anyways because it's just better all the way." So, thank you - you've made a difference.

Wow I lost 80.2 pounds 245.4 at 17 to 165.2 at 18 and I have about as much skin as you do. Glad to know I'm not alone. Also glad to know it's normal, thanks a lot.

Tbh that is more than optimal, you have that good body, AND a soft enough stomach for your partner too comfortably lay on. I see it as a win win.

I dont know how you do it honestly but I wish I had your level of confidence. Lately I've been really depressed about my skin because I have a lot of stretch marks on my chest, stomach, back, arms, inner thighs, and lower back. To make matters worse I also have body acne and scars from when I had eczema. I honestly don't know what to do despite talking to friends and family. I've never felt so low in my life that I often think of ending things. But I know I have to keep going, it's just hard to keep up with life. I also might be seeing a girl but I'm afraid of what she may think of my body. Nevertheless you keep inspiring me to keep at it and continue on with life. To which I thank you :)

I wouldn’t let that bother you. You look great. My skin is way worse due to weight gain through health issues. I gained 100 pounds of water weight and lost that weight in 2 weeks

Thanks for sharing! This is one thing that's in the back of my mind as I lose weight, I'm just happy I decided to change my lifestyle when I did. I'm thankful to have height on my side, and not too big of a starting weight. Great content and grats on 600 subs!

Losing 120 pounds I never thought I wasn’t gonna have loose skin more as I was hoping I wouldn’t lol. Unfortunately I’m super self conscious about it right now but hopefully in the future that can change

Bro those are your battle scars be proud of them and you are young your skin will adjust more and more as the years go by and finally if it really really bothers you a nice tattoo around that area can do magic bro. Keep up the good work

Outstanding job man. I grew up with body dysmorphia and being called the “fat kid” as well by family and friends. In my late twenties, still today younger peers make jokes on the daily (military) about my loose skin and residual fat deposits. Fuck their immature opinion. I lost fifty pounds (second time in my life and skin genetics are bad in elasticity) gained 20 in muscle thus far six months in, natty. Couldn’t be more proud of my progress. Hit the gym every day like religion. I take the “compliments” as motivation to get bigger. Sure I have a kangaroo pouch now but I also got the matching arms and chest to go with. Three more years, I’ll be most likely leaving the service in the best shape of my life right as I hit 30 years old, and it’ll continue for the rest of my life. Stay always friggen hungry for challenge, and keep up the good work. I couldn’t agree more in taking your scars with you.

Loose skin does shrink over time. It takes a while but it does shrink. Age and genetics do play a big role. Someone in their 20s has a much better chance of it shrinking faster than someone in their 30s 40s, etc. There are foods that help speed up the process slightly but it still takes a while.

Hey bro, Ive been looking a lot into autophagy and how it causes your cells to reuse the "unwanted" collagen to use as protein when are fasting. I am 30 and have a little bit of loose skin not as much as yours because i have lost 60 lbs but my skin is better than what i anticipated but everyone is different.I am starting longterm water fast so i can activate my autophagy more.

Yea, loose skin sucks! Unfortunately, i focused more on cardio than weightlifting during weightloss so i have quite a bit of loose skin 🙄 butttt I’d rather have loose skin than fat soo 🤷‍♀️😊

I’m on my way to losing 60 lb and was thinking about loose skin. Your skin isn’t so bad it might even shrink after some time.

The comment about a winners skin is great! I know that I will have a lot of loose skin when I’m further in my journey. I have loads of stretch marks and some scars from a surgery as well and I too think of them as battle scars. I’m excited to notice that none of my stretch marks are red anymore, that is a huge accomplishment in my eyes :)

Your skin has adapted nicely, I wouldn’t worry about it! Although I know that it’s a different thing to look at your own body. We are always harder on ourselves, even when we shouldn’t.

I’m almost certain I’ll end up getting skin surgery. Most likely thighs, arms and stomach area. I want to feel normal because I don’t remember a time when I have been that. Scars are kinda cool and they tell a story, I’ve got no problem with them. Obviously the surgery is a big deal but I feel like the cost, pain and healing time will be worth it for I’m so young that I get to enjoy the final result for over 70 years if I get to live as long as my relatives.
