JDK11 - Introduction to JDK Flight Recorder

JDK Flight Recorder is a system for collecting diagnostic and profiling data about a running Java application. Integrated into the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) with extremely low performance overhead, it is designed for profiling heavily loaded production environments.

Markus Grönlund from Oracle's Java Platform Group gives a feature overview and hands-on demonstration for how JDK Flight Recorder can help understand some hard-to-observe problematic situations.
