I’ve got this procedure done before.... I have a very skinny face, not a lot of fat. But my skin around smile line and bottom face is sagging . So I did it, and was the worse experience ever. She did my whole face didn’t warn me about loosing fat. First day my fave looked right and flawless... the next day I swear to god, it was right but I looked like a skeleton. Skeleton face. Very scary. On the neck and jaw area looks amazing, I recommend. On the face, don’t ever do it unless you have a lot of fat and you want a more skinny looking face or you want to bring your cheekbones out. I got very depressed for months. But after 5-6 months my face kinda was coming back to normal. So the skeleton face wasn’t permanent thank god it would been horrific if so.

I had HIFU today, I didn't feel ANY pain at all. The therapist was very recommended, extremely careful and gentle. Before the treatment I got all my questions answered specially about burning fat in areas where shouldn't be burning fat and leaving the face saggy. I also had nightmarish results after ultherapy. Scarring, fat loss and my wallet also lost! Now my husband doesn’t trust ANY procedures, so I’m punished for that. I also had the same type of after effects from a few “fraxel” moments with another trusted provider. I had it done by a board certified dermatologist. First, it was horrifically painful. No one told me that it would be so painful and when I got to the office and they were giving me numbing cream, the assistant asked if I wanted to take a very strong pain killer. I said I had to drive myself home and she just shrugged her shoulders. If they had said something to me ahead of time, I would have made other arrangements. Then about a month after the procedure, I noticed the top part of my cheek on the right side had flattened out where there is supposed to be a curve. I had to wait until it wore off to look "normal" again. I was told later by another Dr that you're not supposed to use the wand in that area. I had Thermage done 2 years later and I loved the results from that. They even went over my eyelids which had gotten crepey, and that got totally fixed. I would have Thermage done again. Not Ulthera
