This is going to be terrible for us if it doesn’t get pushed out by the people. You’ve covered this well dude very informative!

Yeah got very disappointed in the EU for passing this law, the worst part of the law is that the owner of the site is responsible for the breaching of copyright soo we will maybe see a fallout on youtube but maybe not . Also is that a naruto 7th hokage figure ?
also good explanation :D

Wow dark day for the internet indeed. It is hard to process this is actually happening. Thank you for explaining this in more detail bro. It will be interesting to see how this unravels, and hoping something can still be done to revoke it or make major revisions that protects fellow content creators.

Nice and informative video, Shinobi! Computer AI now doesn't even do a good or efficient job, how can it be given an even bigger responsibility? -.- Memes should be protected, but the AI doesn't know the difference between original content and a parody, and like you said too about reviews and unboxings, it's unclear how much will be allowed and if they're accidentally censored. And even in terms of leaving the EU, UK was backing this decision so I don't know if we'll have it any better in that case either >< but yeah, nice video on a not nice situation hahaa

Nando is always the man, but I know what he is going through and talking about I mentioned article 13 about a year ago in my ionprime time videos on my channel, however I may do another on it now that this has passed because Nando has inspired me to talk about this a bit more. About the music creators of the music industry are too blind to notice that buying a license doesn't give you jack. Theres a few youtubers I know who used music and bought a license to use it and had proof of it. Yet YouTube still demonitized these youtubers even thought they explained and showed their license, YouTube still said lol NOPE still demonitized because we are a big company and we can break the law.

This is horrible. I hope they amended it further

Will probably all come down to how it's used/implemented but it's just disturbing how out of touch the guys making the rules are and how little they listen : /

you are kinda completley wrong bout 90% of what you were talking about.

they don't have to implement it. its a directive. directives are influential but it is up to individual nations to make their own versions or, potentionally in this case, to even implement them considering it would cost millions, and collectively billoins, to implement these rules. and then there are those who would use it for abuse in a few eu countries.

but the thing of a directive is that it can be fleating. its unliekly the udpates wil lbe sustainable, the nations iwll get pissed at how much moeny they are gonna be forced to spend, and there will always be changing guard. honestly i feel part of the reason it went through is because people wanted to favor from the msuic and news industries.

you are also forgetting the influence of tech giants like google too, who no want this and would lose BILLIONS from this stuff. it would be cheaper for them to boycott the European nations who comply into submission.
