This is a very big accident my goodness. There needs to be campaign on defensive driving and better roads as well as a review of speed limits.

Causes of most accidents according to what I experience on the road is lack of patience and abusive driving if I may call it so, for example yesterday I was driving from the direction of OR Tambo towards Eastgate direction there were road works but one but from arrow coaches carrying passengers insisted on over taking me from the right fast lane to where the road works were he the bus almost hit all the people who were directing the cars there and all the orange cones and other car the driver was not sleeping but lack of patience and all related is the cause of most accidents, including high level of roadrage when people are diving bigger cars or speedy cars they think they own the roads. That's my comment.

Garakuwa is a rural area how come a accident of this type occurred. It's so sad. Cannot trust our roads.Sympathies to the bereaved families.

This is sad indeed. It will however be better to mention the exact place in terms of road name and also the name of the Bus soo that relative/close people can be alert and start checking on their people

Potholes burning tyres and fires from the squatter camp have caused accidents on that road for years I lived out on a plot there it was a nightmare and not a cop in sight HOPEFULLY THINGS WILL CHANGE

The last time I travelled long distance in a bus(June 2022), the heaters were on with all the windows shut closed. This made the whole windshield foggy. I woke up because I felt the bus swerving a bit. When I looked to the front the driver was literally driving (a bit too fast if I can say) while wiping the screen on his side with a small squeegee to see the road clearly. It was really scary and most, if not all, of the passengers were sound asleep.

Unfortunately most drivers do not follow the rules of the road. I'm on the road 12 hours a day, the driving that I see very scary 😨 😳. When people get into a mode of transport they intrust you with their lives. More reason to get them to their destinations safely

Condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in this accident however Bus drivers in Pretoria and Brits are bullies on our roads. I witness bad driving from bus drivers daily and and I know for a fact that passengers keep quitet bcos they also want to arrive early at work.

The number of trucks in our roads, as much as they are creating jobs but that number is too much and it keeps getting worse 😓

When you carrying lives not cargo sometimes drivers carry on like that I had alot frighting experience of drivers but that the time most of the people pray to reach safe to there distnity
