Legend has it that the Rand was purposely devalued in order to minimise the losses in CIT robberies. These days you need a forklift and a big truck to get a decent haul of cash. The sheer bulk of it minimises losses. I gave up that life and now make a lot more in the kitchen at Nandos.

Why would the driver open the door while its bullet proof, even at gun point the driver should not open bcos the bullet will not penetrate, it was planned, otherwise the driver was going to make means to run away, it was too easy.

Inside job. Armored truck drivers are instructed to never open their doors and either drive off or ram the robbers' getaway car. This clown complied way too easily.
