Thx Stephanie! The wife & I turn 65 this year & chose your office to sign up with the best available Plan N and a prescription plan D. Your team is awesome! 🏆

In every single video you post, you manage to explain your topic in a very clear and easy-to-understand way. Only the U.S. government could make such a wonderful program for seniors so extremely complicated. If wrong decisions are made, it can be financially catastrophic, causing seniors to suffer financial devastation. Your videos help clarify the complex information so seniors can make the decision that's right for them. THANK YOU!!

Another scenario. You go in for a procedure. The performing doctor is participating provider. However, the anesthesia doctor may not be, or the lab doing some work may not, or radiology isn't. So your doctors office say it's covered by medicare but that's only THEIR fees not other participating parties in the procedures. That happens a lot in a commercial insurance where the other party or parties may be not in network for example

Medicare payments are not keeping up with private insurance. Don't you think more doctors in future will not accept Medicare assignment?

Stephanie, I need help with Medicare not paying for 3 Rxs, we payed out-of-pocket ($598), after 3 months of paying out-of-pocket Medicare approved the Rx and said we have one year to be reimbursed for the out-of-pocket expense, the pharmacy is clueless to help. Can I contact you?

Great explanation, but I am concerned more doctors will do excess charges in the future. 14% of a large number is a large number.

I have private insurance and Medicare, so primary and secondary insurance. There is a problem sometimes with Part B billing when covering items, but I meet all the guidelines of Part B. Other than that everthing goes ok.

Could you make a video explaining how the transition from an employer group plan to Medicare should work? I will be making this transition soon and I am concerned about avoiding any time gap in coverage and paying for both coverages at the same time.

Can a lab or hospital or a dr in a hospital bill excess charges? That would be an unknown kind of if you had surgery or a procedure where you have no idea of all the people in and out and I am sure will send a bill.

Have you known someone who has gotten hit with excess charges? I'd love to know!

Hi, Stephanie! Guess what? My dr is one of the 2%. He is non-participating. I am one of your customers and will begin Medicare on 8/1/24 with a Plan G supplement. Would you recommend that I switch doctors? I'm trying to make it as simple for myself as possible, hence the purchase of Plan G. Let me know if I should discuss this with Carter. Thanks!

Thank you for the explanation. I have a question regarding excess charges by state. If my supplement plan is issued by RI a state that does not allow excess charges, but I get care from a doctor in FL, can I be liable for excess charges? I have a HD-G plan so I am not concerned, but curious.

Hi Stephanie; If you were age 65 going on Medicare for the first time and was considered in good health, would you feel comfortable choosing plan N? Have a nice day!

This is scaring me:
Heritage Foundation posted this:
Yes, the Social Security retirement age should be raised. If Congress does nothing, benefits will be cut by 21% across the board beginning in 2033.
