Yeah I got the dark blue, it’s a bit better but the dust makes it look dirty a day after washing. I just use a car duster so I dont clean every day

i also got a black 7.5 GTI, the rear hatch is always so dirty hours after wash and it sticks out so much on the black paint

They do require frequent washing but it’s worth it

i got the gray gti it’s honestly better because it’s the same color as the dust so it doesn’t look dirty😂

Exactly! Seen a lot of unsold Black and white used GTIs out there. But the reds and the greys - gone within 60s of posting an ad.

I brought a 2023 GTI in white cause I was tired of my black GTI MK7 looking old. I live in a country with 50 degree heat white is very much needed!

as long as youre not a cleaning freak and can be okay with the fact that black paint will get visibly dirty way easier than other colors, black is okay. i own a black car and havent washed it all winter and honestly i cant even tell its dirty half the time cuz of how moist the air gets

I had a pearl black Mk5 golf gt year's ago... beautiful motor but waste of time cleaning it...soon as took it out of the garage the following day it was dusty as f@#k...now have a white mk8 gtd... stays clean 😁

I have a dark Grey mk7 every dust particle in the world gravitate towards but hey can only pick and choose so much when getting a used one, wish mine was white.
