I don’t think most people realize how important Kid Cudi is. When Man on the Moon came out when I was 15 I had never heard an artist who spoke to how I felt so precisely before and before Cudi it was not cool in hip hop to be vulnerable in the way he was. There were a lot of kids like me who needed someone like Cudi to connect with because we felt so alone.. there’s countless great artist but I don’t think many are literally saving lives like Cudi did.

I got to meet Scott in Florida when I was in middle school he paid our school a visit (genuine ass man right there). Dood left an impact on me, I heard Day n night before meeting him but after, diving deeper into his music, I wouldn't mind the "end of if his book" being the teacher he was for me. Shits crazy he said that years later, think he found his purpose before he knew.
