I remember listening to this track in 2012, I was 22 then, living with my little brother, smoking weed and playing playstation. Now I'm 28, diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, ended up in assisted living, broke my drug habbit (weed, cocaine, mdma, speed, oxy, lean, lsd, mushrooms, dmt) and just found this track again. Man, I literally cannot listen to this song without crying my eyes out, literally pours the emotion out of me.
I rarely cry to music, but Cudi somehow manages to be so incredibly powerful and relatable to people like me, he might be hated or he might never get the recognition he deserves, but none of that matters to me, Scott is my hero and he helped me through the most difficult and lonely times of my life.
