Posted as if people never regret buying an ICE vehicle at times. Literally just traded in our 3-year old ICE car that we didn't like for an EV that we're really enjoying.

For me, the selling point is to charge at home from solar for free. I have never had to make a time-wasting detour to buy gas. and no bill to pay. If you think like an ICE driver and try to replicate that lifestyle, you will surely be disappointed. EV owners live differently, and in my opinion, better.

Costs of replacing a battery? Replacing an engine is just as expensive.. most vehicles will need a new angine before an EV needs a new battery :')

I ask them all happy . As long as they have home charging and not too much rely on only public charging

On my third EV since 2015. Now a Renault Zoe GT LINE. Super little car genuine over 200 miles range. I don't understand this attack on EVs?
Not met anyone who has gone back to ice.

Some people love engine vibration and noise, that is more important than not giving lung cancer to others

"Limited charging infrastructure" There are now over 60k public charging connections in the UK, with around a thousand more being installed each Month. "Battery degradation" A typical EV battery degrades at 2 to 3% per year. My Kia eNiro is now just over 3 years old with 34k miles, and the battery is at 94% state of health. Battery degradation has been proven to slow after the first few years of use. "Hidden maintenance expenses" My eNiro had a faulty seat belt sensor at 1300 miles from new, and was readily sorted by the dealer in 45 minutes under warranty. Since then, nothing but 100% reliability. My Kia still has almost 4 years manufacturers warranty to run. These reports and articles are obviously penned by those with zero EV ownership experience. My advice would be *not* to listen to anyone offering anecdotal "advice" or opinions about electric cars, unless they own or have owned

At least you have som balance... but changing battery? Never heard of it outside garanty, except as an voluntary upgrade. But that would be a true write-of. The rest of examples are new beginners experiences. Why should they not do the samen errors as I have done? You learn to live with it, as we earlier learnde to live with fumes of diesel an exhaust, and noise.

Here in Norway my 2012 Leaf still does the job. Winter is just a little problem, taking away a 10-20 miles of range.

More unnecessary FUD, "anecdotes" without sources. The only useful bit is the statement at the end: you need to make an informed decision when buying an EV, just like you should for any major purchase. Unfortunately there is 0 useful information in this video.
Yes, you need to research things like charging infrastructure in your area and consider costs associated with insurance etc. But that is no different from buying another vehicle.
What may be different is that most of us have bought ICE cars in the past and may need to consider some other factors.
But the much repeated range anxiety and other issues mentioned here are mostly a thing of the past. There are much better sources of information available.

Haven't meet any yet and I know dozens of EV owns, so as far as I am concerned this is all propaganda BS

The first story (John): if you're driving more than 80 miles a day you need a dedicated charger. Otherwise the wall outlet is fine.
Replace the battery in his EV? Either he bought a Mitsubishi iMiev, or a Nissan Leaf in 2012/3, or the story is complete bull-crap.

This video is a bunch of nonsense, most likely funded by the status quo comprising the oil and gas industries!

As an EV owner for almost 3 years, I will never ever purchase an ICE vehicle again!

If you viewers wish to get the true facts about EVs, ask an EV owner!

Don't make your purchase decision without obtaining the facts, not by watching this propaganda!
