Even though it was an anti-climactic end to Max clinching the title, I'm happy he won it. He has shown by far he has been the most consistent and definitely deserved it. I hope that Ferrari can sort out their struggles and be in the title hunt for next season though

Anyone who says "it's just the car" should go back to see his earlier career. He took 7 wins before his first pole. He took 10 wins before he has a car that can consistently race with the Mercs. Since 2020 he has been taking 2nd places when the Merc were still dominant. He could execute aggressive strategies and get the best out of an inferior car. He has a great car now and it's just natural for him to win easily. Like him or not, his talent is undeniable.
Hope Merc get the car right and Ferrari get the whole team right next year. A 3 way title fight would be amazing.

This is the true final race of the 2022 season for me, I was rooting for Leclerc the entire season because there had never been a Ferrari car world champion since 2007 but I am also happy for Verstappen getting not one but two championship wins
