Free Agent 100 MPH Bullpen | Jacob Pilarski

Tread Athlete & Free Agent Jacob Pilarski came In House on Saturday and sat 99 mph T100 ⛽️

His all time bullpen PR was 97 before this but has been up to 101 in game 🤯

He came in house for an exit pen after finishing his season a couple weeks prior.

Biggest thing we noticed was his direction. Very crossbody leading to command issues with breaking balls and some minor fluctuations in velo.
Cleaned up his direction with some lassos, rocker w/ a coil, turn and burn step behinds and step backs w/ a heel slam.

Lastly, we shifted him over on the rubber about a foot. He was originally on the far first base side causing everything to work towards the right handed batter.

What always blows my mind is that when you see guys throwing this fast, it dose not look like there is much hip shoulder separation. But when you slow the video down they are separated more than you have ever seen! But they get it to happen so fast that it's hard to recognize. That takes a lot of hard work and training.
