I saw a livestream from a channel I didn't recognize and had no idea what it was until I looked into the store page on youtube and saw his merch. My stomach dropped. I hope this is resolved soon.

So it seems that YouTube has taken down the scammer and their stream. I have dug deep and noticed that all of his videos are labeled as “private” so he might have all his stuff and will be returned to him. I assume YouTube is now currently reworking the account ownership.
