Here's an alternative interpretation of Tzeentch's yellow brick road: it was a normal human girl who solved it. No disguises, no tricks, just a particularly imaginative child, a dog, and a lot of luck.

Tzeentch's essence is hope and change. He can't ever construct a maze that is genuinely impossible to solve, there always needs to be the faintest of hopes to pull through. He's also self-defeating, he can't ever succeed in a decisive way because if he ever reaches his goals, he'd stagnate (and that is worse than death for the god of change). Lastly, he's not necessarily happy with these properties: it is in his nature to sabotage himself while hating the fact that he can be sabotaged.

It would be entirely on-brand for Tzeentch to create the harshest of possible riddles for sorcerers and his own daemons, only to overlook a massive security vulnerability that lets some harmless child to enter it by accident and genuinely earn her way out of it. Tzeentch saying "no, it was secretly the Emperor of Cegodeceiver" is, as the kids say nowadays, pure cope.

Genuinely think that little girl in Tzeentch's maze was just that... a little girl.

It always reminded me of that scene in Star Wars, when Obi-Wan couldn't find Kamino and a toddler pointed out that someone had obviously fiddled with the archives, with Yoda chuckling in the background.

Truly wonderful, the mind of a child is...

One theory about the girl in the maze I've heard is quite interesting. She wasn't a god or a deamon or anything. She was a completely normal human child. The reason she was able to succeed was because her child-like naivety and innocence allowed her to see past the illusions and get to the real truth and thus the answers.

I was listening to the video when I heard "What are the cryptos running from" and all I could think was "The IRS" cause cryptobros have ruined the word for me.

The little girl was mork, who was cunnin' but brutal. The dog was gork who was brutal but cunnin'.

It was literally just a little girl being asked impossible questions like "how do you fit a whole giraffe into a refrigerator?" and the girl answered as only a child can: "You push it inside, dummy."

The demon sat there and had to concede that the girl was technically not wrong. So the girl got access to the library. And the only thing she wanted to know was "what is mummy getting me for my Emperor's Day present?... Oh, okay. Yes, I'm ready to go home now. That's all I wanted to know."

Hence why Tzeentch absolutely flipped out on the demon who let her through.

The date: November 1st

Wes: I don't know if you're aware or not, but spooky season is only 11 months and 30 days away. Which means it's the perfect opportunity to talk about another batch of creepy unsolved mysteries...

The one who beat Tzeentch's crystal maze, I think, as it would insult him the most, that the little girl was just that, a little girl. Someone who got lost and found herself at the 1st golden arch. A light of innocence in a sea of rolling madness and a storm of writhing desire for knowledge. Someone pure enough without the desire for knowledge but still child like curiosity

Adition: I think their is a chance that the Black Reef may end up bringing in Lizard Men to 40k (or 50k at this rate) as a potentially devolved sub race of "Old Ones" that would likely refer to the Slann from Age of Sigmar. That is, if the lizard people thing turns out to be true in canon

I am 99% sure that the writer of the tzeentch story has confirmed that it is a reference to Neil gaiman's sandman series, and that's delirium/delight visiting because she can.

I'd love to think the girl and her dog going through the labyrinth was just big E and malcador on a bender amd being bored like "Hey Malcador you wanna piss off that massive cry baby and do trivia night?"

Damn Wes you digging deep into 40K lore aren't ya, bringing up the Dark Pattern and the little girl and her dog who trolled Tzeentch and literally walked through his prized labyrinth or better yet the Steel Confessors? That's why I like your channel. Oh and the Warhammer horror hour too

I think the biggest mystery is why we haven't had another infinite and the divine book about how orikan and trazyn are just like a really old couple that always fights but love each other deep in their hearts

A lot of people have already said it better than me, so I am just sputtering whatever comes to mind, but to me, the girl that passed through the Crystal Labirynth was just a regular girl.
She was very lucky, she was likely brave, imaginative and smart, but she was just a child.

But Children seem to have certain special traits in many stories (and I think in folklore too?), they have their specific purity, which would be how she could stave off the corrupting nature of Chaos, she was just too pure.

Another thing is the nature of the Labirynth itself, it is said to have an infinite amount of possible paths, but only one correct one.
A Child at the beggining of their life conceptually has an infinite amount of ways in which they may develop.
An adult who has a goal, has lived a life already has only one path that they follow.
The adult may only follow the path they have already been set into, which always ends up not being the correct one to get through the Crystal Labirynth, while a Child has an infinite amount of paths to choose from, which includes the correct path through the Labirynth.

Dunno if it made sense, but just smth that flashed through my brain.

Wild theory
I feel like the little girl that bested the maze would have been the star child.
The star child (I feel) is the human portion of the warp personified and the small dog could have been the Emperor's compassion he shed, as the Emperor has been with humanity for so long this could have been given form in the warp (like everything else) as the dog, as he guided and protected humanityfor so long. Just as people keep dogs around to help, comfort and protect us.
