A new kitchen and a new milestone for me - making a whole piece of furniture! 🥹 I'm really happy to be able to share the journey with you guys in this new place.

For all those asking, often when you rent in Germany, the kitchen doesn't come with the apartment. You have the option to buy one built by the older tenants, or like us, build one on your own. And no, the landlord does not reimburse you. When you move out, you either sell it to the next tenant, or bring the kitchen with you to the next apartment. (We sold our previous kitchen, which is why we started from scratch!)

When I first moved to 🇩🇪 this was a strange culture for me, but I actually really like it now because we get to design the kitchen totally to our needs and wants ☺️
