I didn’t know that the cabinets names are different in USA and EU. We bought beginning of the year our ikea kitchen and the cabinets in the Nederland and Germany are called “metod”. 😀

That’s so crazy we have an older house around the same age and we were quoted about 30k to completely remodel so we decided to do it ourselves and then we found IKEA and shortly this video comes out what timing

Great work! Do you have any issues with the vinyl plank flooring being under the cabinets? Any issues with buckling, expansion/contraction?

Real good work, my dude. I just bought a late 60's house in San Diego. The kitchen cabinets smell bad and laminate countertops are not in good shape. I might have to go this route

What did you do with the back of the cabinets that serve as your island? Isn’t it just that flimsy backer board?
