Hello everyone! I am happy to present you my short documentary without words. At the beginning of last spring, I started building a small hut in the forest with no experience. I have made many mistakes. And yet the hut turned out to be warm and cozy, I was able to survive the most severe winter frosts and snowstorms. Due to the remoteness from civilization, it is difficult for me to deliver quality materials for construction, so I use natural resources. I am in Texas we don’t get a lot of snow here but we do get really cold days thru winter, it’s a short winter with everyone and then snow I love cabin living, been in our cabin now for 20 years and I do live in the woods, it’s great, natural creeks, nature of all kinds it’s great, so happy for you, , , keep up the good work.God Bless

i think the stove pipe should run inside the cabin and comeout just before the roof side so to minimaise the heat loss

Don’t waste the log fire. Heat rocks and bring them in. Those rocks will keep the room warm for a while.
