only follow the second "hack" in the advanced system settings, if it doesn't work, keep increasing the maximum limit by a few thousands and restarting your pc until it works.
if you're encountering this problem while installing some game, try looking for some checkbox to limit ram usage or resources usage in the installer/launcher, might be the easiest way to solve your issue.
