here's my dollar tree cleaning hack:
get a spray bottle and a bottle of liquid fabric softener. make a 1:1 mixture of water and fabric softener in the bottle. shake well before each use. replace your carpet powder with this. not only does it end up being cheaper but i kept pucking up powder for several months after i quit using it when i switched to this. it also picks up pet hair a bit easier too. added bonus: you can use it like you would febreeze spray on your furniture

I’m happy to see we’re not the only ones that still have their Christmas tree up! 😁. Our children just haven’t wanted to take it down yet, and it’s been enjoyable having it up during the dreary January days.

Those blue & white fluffy dusters are great. I have one with washi tape on the handle that I give to my daughter so she can dust the (cat-hair-covered hardwood) stairs before she mops them by hand (her idea, she loves this activity). I also bought one to keep in my storage unit we used while preparing to move. Worked great as a spider web remediation tool when I needed to access certain boxes, and then it was ready to go during the final cleanout instead of hauling a broom there & back, and I just tossed it after I "swept" the concrete floor of the empty unit.

I've found colored pencils on furniture work really well too. I've been doing that for a long time. I'm trying to stay more natural with products but I'll sometimes use them and they work. Thanks for the tips! 😁💜
