I tried the double dunking ocedar mop hack....in the end I just had dirty water...and slightly less dirty water.
You still stick a dirty mop into the clean water lol

The dish soap lid idea is genius.
I broke a spray bottle that had a great spray head on it. The only empty bottle handy was a dish soap bottle, and the screw top fit. I'm still using that bottle 4 years later. Just keep putting concentrated cleaner in it and watering it down.
It's amazing that these bottles have the same size openings. But thank goodness they do.
Next empty dish soap bottles I'm keeping the lids. I hang onto bottles for awhile in the recycle bin, just incase, like the last time I needed to hang onto that cleaner in the broken bottle.
BTW, mopping with multiple buckets is recommended. My grandmother taught me how to clean back in the 1960's. She rinsed the mop in the sink under running water. Then clean the sink with Comet cleaner, rinse it out, then spray with 100% distilled vinegar and let it sit to kill any remaining germs and bacteria.

It is easier to dump and clean the dollar tree bucket as you mop. That's how you keep it clean😊

I love the mop hack, but when I tried it, the clean water still got dirty because the mop head was dirty from how bad the floors were. Was that an issue for you? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! We have an O Cedar mop at school to make smaller cleanups easier, so that is what I use in my classroom. I am planning on teaching my little first and second graders to use it! 😂
