350Z ECU Reset Guide (Check Engine Light) easy way

Показать описание
This video shows how to reset ECU on Nissan 350Z (or infiniti G35).
Following procedure resets Check Engine light as well as A/F ratio learning tables. Some people claim getting more power after performing it (especially after installing bolt-ons).
This procedure is considered absolutely harmless, however do it on your own risk.
1. Turn the ignition on and wait 3 seconds (it's better to use a stopwatch)
2. Depress and release the accelerator pedal 5 times during 4-5 seconds. Depress it fully with equal speed motions.
3. Release the accelerator pedal and wait 7 seconds.
4. Depress the accelerator pedal and wait till the check engine light starts to blink.
5. Release the accelerator pedal and wait another 10 seconds. (light continues to blink).
6. Depress the accelerator pedal and wait for more than 10 seconds, then release it and turn the ignition off.
7. Start the car and check if the check engine light has gone (if you had one), otherwise do it once again.
8. Some people say you should give a car some time "to learn" before going full throttle, but it's up to you to decide.
In my opinion, warm up the car, drive 10-15 minutes in a normal way and you are good to go, unless you've done
some major changes to the car (anyway you should get your ecu reflashed after doing major changes)
or the fuel is really low octane, so the car need some time to adjust.
