G35 ECU Reset Procedure Loss in power, check engine light

Infiniti G35 loss in power cam sensor crank sensor misfire number 1 cylinder ecu reset

step 1
KOEO, key on engine off, turn the key on until all the light are on and count 3 seconds
step 2
pump the gas 5 times
step 3
count 10 seconds
step 4
golf the gas pedal down for 12 seconds, then release the gas pedal
step 5
count 10 seconds
step 6
Hold the gas pedal for 10 seconds then release
step 7
turn the key off
step 8
start the car 😁

Thank you thank you thank you!!! I’ve been replacing every single part on this car and scratching my head for 4 whole months. I’ve replaced every single part on this car, blowing through money trying to figure out why my car would randomly go into limp mode without throwing codes or lights. I could drive for an hour or so and my car would go into limp mode and try to cut off if I didn’t hold it to idle at 1000 rpm, if I let the car shut off the battery would die! I replaced the alternator, battery, cam and crank shaft sensors, oil change, air cabin filter, spark plugs and coil packs, new bearings for both the main and ac pulleys along with the belts, reset tension on those along with many more fuses and relays and other parts. This is the only thing that has kept my car going. So again thank you for ending my headache. To anyone that has a g35 and can’t figure out wth is wrong with your luxury POS, try this before you waste money on all these parts like I did. Start here. If you still throw a code then look into the simple shit like the fuses and go from there and try again.

This works on JDM models as well. I live in Japan and have a 2004 Infiniti G35 JDM model. It's the exact same with a 2004 Nissan Skyline GT350 as well. Thanks dude, saved me from takin it to a Nissan dealer.

Todays date 8/23/24 I attempted this procedure on my 2005 G35 auto 190, xxx miles Odo. Took a couple tries but the method is solid. My check engine light is off definitely better sound and butt dyno feels big difference in power jwt pop charger test pipes and 1/2” plenum space early mid rpms are not as sluggish. 🎉

Worked I had hella of a time figuring out the order it’s press 5 times LET go for 12 hold it for 12 let go for 10 then hold for 10 and start it sadly my car died before I got to start it
