I am in the process of a standard firmware update through the camera menu (by copying a file to a memory card) accidentally broke the update process, the battery compartment was opened and it fell right on updating. Now the camera does not even turn on. How do I reset the camera to factory settings?

I tried to update my 8S via wifi but it failed and the camera was unresponsive. I managed to use the Ambarella software to communicate with it and downloaded 8SV1.0.65_2017116_1900.elf but when it finished the software verified a correct download, camera did not re-boot and now it won't even communicate with the Ambarella software even though I see the device in device manager. I haven't even used it yet. Can it be repaired? Is there a way to fix it? Do I need to send it back, if so where to, who to??? Your web site is not very helpful.

Tried different computers, no one will recognize the camera. And your AmbaUSB program, and other programs like DirectUSB do not find any devices. Absolute brick.
There must be a way to turn on the camera by closing the contacts on the board or something else!

hi after using the camera for about 6 months she don´t start anymore, just make 3 beeps and turns off. I use this mode and update the camera with success but she still have the same problem. here it is a video of the problem.
