Is it possible to have a campaign or adventure paths on one of the other planets in the Golarion solar system?

Hmm. Not actually sure how I feel about this. It's a very unique idea for a fantasy universe, to add in an interplanetary culture but that kind of turns it into borderline sci fi and that causes some complex problems. Well at least that explains the chainswords.

Ah yes, Earth is indeed in the golarion universe. In fact I Ran a certain AP in 1st edition that had my players go there and confront a certain individual from our own history.
