When talking about the main issues - I'm missing the most annoying issue for me: The Bluetooth connection to the phone get's lost quite often and can not be reestablished. Sometime just the control of the app from the control steering control wheel is not working anymore - sometime the whole connection between bike and app is lost. You have to unpair and repair the device which takes quite some time. And it happens more often than what is acceptable.

Mine works fine, but will give the Chigee a try. The lower bracket also broke. Thank you for the part no. Keep up the great work.Opened the cradle. and for the price, they could have at least used aluminum on the moving parts. Very cheap internals plastic parts.

Good information. For sliding plastic surfaces "Oil" not a great idea a better choice would be silicone lube.

Hi, I am using a Samsung S24. When the phone is connected to the bike and the Cardo Pro, the phone easily connects with the cradle and then the phone also reacts well when controlled from the “wonder wheel” on the bike. However, when the bike is switched off and back on again the connection between the phone and cradle is lost and the pairing process needs to be done all over. Am I doing something wrong or is the phone not supposed to be connected to cradle and bike simultaneously?

You don't mention the problem that the cradle randomly will not connect to the mobile especially if there has been an app update or phone update its very annoying

will not hold most phones with a case. So you are forced to take your phone in and out of its protection every time you use it. This is the most overpriced phone holder on the market. And it feels cheap.

I have used it with iphone 10Pro Max, i moved to 14Pro Max, it's loosing charge, it's charging few seconds and then not charging. Looks like camera bump stops it to seat properly. Someone from BMW forum mentioned there is way to turn off wireless charging and use cable. And BTW, do not try to Mount Galaxy Z-Fold 3/5, it will fall off. It happened to me. Now i am using iPhone 6s with usb cable. :D

My iphone 13 pro's camera stabilization system got messed up after 7000kms use with the bmw cradle... i would use an old phone if i knew this earlier

Hi, I installed my cradle and I while using I do see green light and amber light . What does these 2 lights signify

It really sucks that bmw locks the controls only to their app. other companies (Carpe iter, for example) let you control the whole phone. Not to mention the cradle is completely unnecessary extra complexity, a quadlock setup is a million times more secure and less expensive.

I use an older phone with the cradle. If i loose it its not the end of the world or an expensive loss.

How does you charging LED stay on green/charging? Mine goes on and off constantly. Thanks.

Anybody who knows what a blinking LED means? I had the LED on my cradle blinking 3 times red before it went off. But I had it blinking 3 times green before going off also.

Only u can't use it when it's raining . Charging port on phone gets wet stops phone working

I don't think this is worth the price.. using an old phone and then ruining it just means you need yet another phone.

I want the cradle just to use google maps. Who cares about that app.
