Learn how to make Potato Rosti at home with Chef Ruchi Bharani on Rajshri Food.

Potato Rosti/ Potato Pancake is a quick and easy breakfast recipe made by frying potato & other vegetables together.
It tastes best when paired with spicy or creamy sauces. Do try this Swiss breakfast recipe at home and share your feedback in the comments below.

Ingredients:
Potatoes, grated & soaked
1/2 cup Cauliflower, grated
2 Spring Onions, finely chopped
2 Green Chillies, finely chopped
1/4 tsp Pepper powder
1 tsp Oil
1 tbsp Rice Flour
2 tbsp Corn Flour
Oil for frying.

Method of preparation:
Squeeze out all the water from the potatoes and spread it on a paper napkin.
Pat dry the potatoes and remove it out in a bowl.
Add cauliflower, spring onions, green chillies, pepper powder, oil and toss all the ingredients together.
Add rice flour, corn flour, give it a final mix.
Remove a small portion of the mixture in a bowl, season it with salt and give it a good mix.
Heat a pan and grease it with a generous amount of oil.
Take a small portion of the potato mixture and spread it out on a pan.
Press them nicely, let them cook on low flame till the bottom is nice and brown.
Our Potato Rosti is ready to eat.

Good modification... this is not the traditional Swizz Rosti :) that we get in Switzerland 🇨🇭 though :))

If not fasting then what can be made. Right? If fasting like us, use groundnut oil, never let the zeera enlarge, keep it roasty tasty as it is, add some green chillies, do not peel potatoes to grate and make kees. Do not garnish coriander leaves which shoul not be brokened.
